That's good, E.M.! Good job! :)

I caution you against making too much of anything else before you make a playable game (one level, one enemy, one weapon, one objective), though. Keep reading the tutorials and follow the advice in them!

Well i hope this  turns out well i need something to play multi player on with my friends. because Dim Ball is kind of boring and take cover barely if never works so it is different than the death match (which goes down)
p.s. i think it would look better if the words CTF in this image are going up instead of down

(the white square border is where the loading takes place)

i may not always be, right but i am never wrong.

bob1234: Maybe you should try out a real game to play multiplayer...

E.M.: Looks good, I'm liking it. :)

Take Cover is far from finished. There is a reason that the Assault Rifle does the same damage as the RPG.

Personally, I think if you want to make a multiplayer game, it has to have some kind of gimmick that changes gameplay to make it stand out from the rest of the million+ hardcore military shooters. For Urban Terror its that crazy powerslide thing. I dunno, you could have really good maps, or lots and lots and lots of weapons, or some kind of way to incorporate vehicles (Like COD and killstreaks), or you could do something crazy like have an FPS/RTS like Tremulous but with this kind of FPS? I dunno.

And before you ask, TakeCover is both not finished and also just designed for friends and I to play at LAN parties and such.

personally, I think having vehicles in a fps multiplayer game would be awesome. Something none of them have (none that I found, at least)

Battlefield series
Halo series
Call of Duty: World at War
Mercenaries series
Unreal Tournament 2k3, 2k4
UT3

To name some of the more popular. ;)

None of those are some of the more hardcore military shooters like Urban Terror and MW where 2-3 bullets can kill. I would be quite interested at what effects vehicles would have in that.
