Is anyone working on projects with Dim3 currently? Or is everybody kinda on hold?

Dim3 is working on automagic game generation so that no one has to make a game with it anymore. They can just ask it for a game.

I've actually been doing a lot of coding with auto generation, and it's some cool stuff, but it's also something nobody else is doing at my level because, well, it's next to impossible at this time.  But, it's something fun to do.

Really, dim3 is just an engine.  When somebody runs into trouble with it, I do updates, otherwise, I'm just tinkering and doing interesting things with it, like the ray tracing version from earlier this year, and now the auto generating stuff.

I might put up some new pictures in the next couple days, seeing how far I get.

You can really think of it on hold until somebody wants to use it.

I have been working off and on with it for some time; although I've mainly been experimenting with potential concepts. I think I've got a semi-solid idea down, but I've been struggling with certain issues inherent in Dim3, namely that it just doesn't seem able to do third person games as well as it does first person games; there's a few issues and bugs that will need to be addressed before any proper work can be done, at least with what I want to do. Still, it's so much better than it was before, and I have every hope of it continuing to improve.

Try as I might, I just can't seem to let it go; I will make something with this engine or die trying! It's just hard because there's so many various tasks to do and not enough time to do them in, not to mention not knowing what I'm doing half the time because I'm a total noob at most of the required work, such as rigging and whatnot. Still, it gives you something to strive for.

I'm kind of just messing around and doing really experimental stuff, so if you have a specific bug that I can recreate, post it up and I'll turn something around for you!
